Monday, Monday, la la, la la la la

Well, here goes my "attempt" at blogging, again. We just returned home from a beautiful wedding in Georgia. The weather, not so great, the company, spectacular! We drove for what seemed like eternity. It's amazing how 1 person can make or break the trip. Sweet little PJ just wasn't digging the whole car ride. We stopped 3 times before we even made it out of the Sunshine State! The entire trip is approximately 445 miles away. It's highly possible to make it in 7 hours or under, depending on the speed at which you travel. We left home at 8:30ish and didn't arrive to our intended destination until 4:30. Did ya get that? That would be 8 hours, give or take a few minutes. Here's the sad part... we only stopped for gasoline once. Sigh. It gets better... we had snacks coming out of our ears. Drinks, sandwiches, chips, crackers, cookies, Rice Krispy Treats, you name it, we probably had it. So, that means the only reason, other than stopping once for gas that we even *needed* to stop was to relieve ourselves. Let's see, a 7 hour trip, I'd say really going once when we get gas, and maybe just maybe stopping to go one other time?? Yeah, so basically we spent 7 hours traveling, and 1 hour stopping-thinking of traveling of course! Once we arrived we had a wonderful time! The wedding was beautiful and we all had a good laugh and a good cry during the ceremony. PJ was trying to tell Mooski that she was dropping flower petals on the ground as he walked down the aisle. Rev and PJ were supposed to ring bells announcing the brides arrival... Rev practically ran down the aisle with his bell and Moo smiled beautifully as she did her Flower Girl thing. But poor ol' PJ. When sister kept walking and people began to chuckle, he continued to make his way to me, but he was sure NOT to step on any of the petals that had just been left laying all over the floor. Once he reached me, he was sure to tell me exactly what had just happened! lol... It was priceless. Then, the minister gave out a touching speech that honored the spouses that had recently passed, giving us all a good cry. It was lovely. Of course, now that we're home, we must get back into our routine. I've already had to get onto the boys for getting into a little trouble this morning. I'm so blessed to have a household full of chaos and cuddles!!!
